01Independent contractor status
You are an independent professional. Nothing here creates an employment, agency, partnership, or joint-venture relationship with Poof. You are responsible for your own taxes, insurance, licences, and business registrations.
02You control your services and pricing
You decide what you offer, how you deliver it, your call lengths, your availability, your access rules, and your prices. Poof provides the tools; it does not direct your work or guarantee you clients.
03Accurate credentials
Your profile, qualifications, licences, and claims must be accurate and current, and you must hold every licence your services require. Poof does not verify credentials and may remove a profile that appears misleading.
04Your relationship with clients
The service agreement is between you and your client. You are responsible for the professional relationship, for any additional terms you impose, and for handling client concerns about your service.
05Payouts and payment processing
Where selling through Poof is enabled, payments and payouts run through Stripe under Stripe's terms, and you must complete its onboarding and verification. Platform fees: [PLATFORM FEE PLACEHOLDER]. Payout timing: [PAYOUT SCHEDULE PLACEHOLDER]. We may hold or reverse payouts for refunds, chargebacks, or suspected fraud.
06Cancellations and reliability
Clients rely on your calendar. Publish accurate availability, honour your own cancellation window, and cancel as early as you can when you must.
Repeated cancellations or no-shows may lead to reduced visibility, suspension, or removal. Poofs reserved for a call you miss are returned to the client.
07Issuing Poofs
You are responsible for the credit rules you set — quantities, call lengths, renewal cadence, rollover, and expiry — and for honouring the Poofs you or your programme have issued while they remain valid.
08Prohibited conduct
The Acceptable Use Policy applies to you in full, including the bans on unauthorized recording, misleading credentials, circumventing platform fees, and delivering regulated care through Poof without express authorization.
09Confidentiality and recording
Treat client information as confidential. Do not record, transcribe, or share a call without the informed consent of every participant, and follow the recording and privacy laws that apply where you and your client are located.
10Term and termination
Either side may end this agreement at any time. If you leave, you remain responsible for bookings already scheduled and for resolving outstanding Poofs you issued or sold. Poof may suspend a provider account immediately where clients are at risk.
11Governing law
Governing law and dispute resolution: [GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE PLACEHOLDER].
